I believe everybody have taken back all their papers (inc. Emaths2 and EDCKT), and as usual, some may be shock to see their ascending / descending result. But this is very real, thus I hope you guys can embrace yourself and study even harder for your up-coming quiz 2 and final examination.

DO: Study hard, be consistence and stay focus.
DON'T: Daydream, AWOL or slack.

I'm happy to see that there are many kind hearted Singaporeans making donation to aid China, Sichuan. Raising funds for building new school and giving the children hope and new life. Wish to go Japan?

The school of ENG is organising a study trip to Kyushu, Japan.

Date: Mon 29 Sept - Sun 5 Oct, 2008
Cost: About $2100 for 20 pax and about $2000 for 40 pax

You may use Edusave/PSE to pay for the full study trip or up to the amount available on your Edusave/PSE account. However, full payment of the trip must be paid in cash. Upon return from the trip, you need to fill in a form to authorise withdrawal from your Edusave/PSE account. Parent's signature is required if you are under 21. TP will reimburse you after it has received the $ from CPF. The process will takes about a month.

You can call 6260 0777 to check the balance on your Edusave/PSE account by entering your NRIC no. and following the instructions given over the phone. The government has deposited S$400 into your account in March 2008, so you should have at least this amount.

Singaporeans do not need a visa to travel to Japan. For other nationalities, you have to apply on your own, Malaysian - S$20, Chinese - S$50.
